When Virgin Casino launched its mobile platform earlier this year, it promised players that it would soon expand the intial offering of Microgaming games to incorporate titles from other software providers.
This week, International Game Technology (IGT), announced that Virgin Casino has launched its remote game server for mobile platforms, essentially allowing players to enjoy some of IGT’s top titles on through their mobile phones and hand held devices.
Some of the games that Virgin Mobile players will be able to access include firm favorites such as Da Vinci Diamonds slot and Cleopatra slot, both which will be launched initially. IGT said that this pair will be followed with the release of other games such as Elvis A Little More Action slots, Kitty Glitter slots, Wolf Run slots and Cats slots.
All in all, IGT plans to release over 20 exciting title to Virgin Mobile Casino’s platform in the next year, according to Robert Melendres, IGT executive vice president of emerging businesses. “Introducing our new rgs mobile casino games to the Virgin Mobile Casino audience will allow for IGT’s games to be enjoyed by an even wider range of players,” said Melendres. “Mobile rgs expands our distribution capabilities, and mobile casino games are a key future driver of our interactive product.”
“For many people nowadays the mobile phone is the primary platform for entertainment, so it is crucial that we continue to introduce new content to create a mobile site that allows players to experience the entertainment they get from Virgin Mobile Casino while they are on the move,” said the Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Games, Simon Burridge, who added that the new addition to Virgin Mobile Casino was a further step in ensuring that the platform continued towards its objective of providing players with a wide and diverse range of titles by multiple casino software providers.
The games available on Virgin Mobile Casino are compatible with various smartphones, including iPods, iPhones and more. Players can enjoy titles such as Thunderstruck and Tomb Raider slots, as well as table games such as roulette and blackjack.
