GamCare (www.gamcare.co.uk) is a support service that offers help to UK residents over the internet and by phone. The number is 0845 6000 133.
Gamblers Anonymous is another source of help. The national number is 0207 384 3040, and there’s a separate number for Scotland – 08700 50 88 81.
Gam-Anon UK and Ireland offers support to people affected by other people’s gambling, such as partners of people with gambling problems. The national number is 08700 50 88 80.
GamAid (www.gamaid.com) can provide one-to-one help from a qualified advisor, confidential email counselling and a private forum where you can get help from other people.
